Why is Mercy Housing pursuing this development?

​

Mercy Housing is working in partnership with the City of Glendora to address the critical need for affordable housing by developing rental opportunities that are accessible to individuals and families across a range of income levels. By investing in affordable housing, Mercy Housing aims to create safe, high-quality living environments that strengthen neighborhoods and improve the quality of life for residents who might otherwise be priced out of the local housing market.

How many apartments will there be?

There will be 70-75 apartments at the property.

Will there be parking for residents, staff, and visitors?

Yes, on-site parking will be provided as part of the development.

Management and Resident Services​

Who will provide property management services at the property?

​

Mercy Housing Management Group (MHMG), an affiliate of MHC, will manage the property. MHMG currently manages over 160 properties in California and 328 nationwide, serving 43,000 residents. An apartment at Mercy Glendora will be designated for onsite management staff, and a full-time property manager will be available once the community opens.

Who will provide resident services programming at the property?

​

Resident services programming at the property will be provided by Mercy Housing, offering onsite support in areas such as health and wellness, housing stability, financial education, youth development, and community engagement to help residents thrive.

Who is the design team working on Mercy Glendora?

​

The project architect is TCA Architects, a firm specializing in architecture, master planning, and interior design. TCA has completed over 350 multi-family communities, including the following communities:

Yes, we welcome volunteers, both individuals and groups, to our properties. Mercy Housing has a long track record of partnering with individuals and groups to create meaningful volunteer experiences that benefit affordable housing residents. There will be opportunities to help with many different activities, including cultural celebrations, educational programming, and health and wellness activities. Volunteer opportunities will also be made available to residents of Mercy Glendora.
